What are Crowns?

Dental Crowns are made where a filling may not be the recommended solution due to severe decay or damage to a tooth is severe. In such cases, the entire surface of the tooth can be covered and reinforced with dental crowns to increase the strength and the longevity of the tooth. Dental Crowns are always indicated when a root canal treatment was previously done on the tooth.

What are Bridges?

Dental bridges can be another solution for treating missing teeth. They are sets of porcelain, ceramic, gold or metal prosthetic teeth that fill the gaps left by missing teeth. Dental bridges uses the adjacent tooth structure to support the whole prosthetic. Dental bridges are very durable and made to last for many, many years. If Implants are not the solution for replacing missing teeth, dental bridges are an alternative. In Smileway Dental we provide different types of crowns and bridged materials.

Am I suitable for Crowns or Bridges?

If you are not sure if crowns or bridges are best for your treatment, please do consult with our doctors. In Precise Prefect we usually advise a crown when the tooth has undergone Root Canal Treatment or the tooth is badly damaged where filling materials to restore the tooth is not advisable. However there are many ways to restore missing teeth, like implant and dentures. If you are not sure what is best for your situation, please consult with our doctors before choosing.

  The response from time of my asking for an appointment (though last minute) was handled well. Staff was ensuring that if I couldn't make the 5pm appointed time then she offered to reschedule.  So I did for the next day. Dr Edwin was super nice and gave options to see that my swollen due to infection gum was treated with care. I only visit this clinic because of its professionalism.   Having great experience so far. The doctor are very attentive and explain things very thoroughly without pushing for unncesssary treatment. The clinic is well lit and very clean👍👍.

It is on the first and second so it will be a bit hard if you have a bad leg.
